We selected real Mahogany for these openers due to the beautiful grain.  The hardware for the opener is powder-coated for extra durability.  The wood is protected by a plant-based oil/wax, giving it a nice natural look.  The three magnets used help hold this to a fridge, or you can replace the screws and install longer ones in the predrilled holes to mount it.
